ok...so let me just start by saying you know that you're a mom when you write blog posts about diapers...welcome to the motherhood.
for a while i was having a hard time because i could NOT find any diapers that i liked...i bought packs of huggies, pampers, luvs..basically all of the "name brand" diapers...not necisarilly because they were name brand but because i figured one of them had to be the best (it's what they use in the hospitals). well after all of them failed (leaks, blowouts, weird pee smells) i decided to give the generic "parents choice" brand a try...what could it hurt right? i spent half of what i would have on a name brand and so far i LOVE them! now, i know this could change once he starts to get more mobile...but for now i'm loving the generic.

That is hilarious and I feel the EXACT same way! We did Pampers for awhile, but I actually really love Parent's Choice and we still use them to this day!
We went through the same thing. Carson would have leaks and blowouts with Pampers and Huggies. I was given a pack of the Parents Choice at my shower and love them and use them to this day!! And it's even better that they are half the price! Name brand doesn't always mean the best. Parents Choice brand is great, even their formula. They compare whats in 2 other kinds on their can. You should check them out.
That is so good to know!! Not even 5 minutes ago I was just complaining to my mom that every single time Kayson poops it's a blow out and somebody needs to invent some decent daipers! She told me at least I don't have to use cloth! I'll have to try those.
That's funny, yup welcome to motherhood! That's what we found with the triplets, too, the generic was the very best, and believe me, we went through the diapers. :)
