Back Already!

We are back from Lagoon and we had a blast! We didn't take any pictures (it's just too big of a pain to carry a camera with you and have to find a place for it while you are on the rides), but I'll give you a quick rundown of what we did.
Saturday we left at about 1:30 and drove through to Layton....we got to our hotel at about 4:20. The hotel was really nice (courtyard mariott) and pretty inexpensive. So we got our stuff into the room and then headed to target right across the street to get some snacks for later. We then headed to the Gateway mall to shop around and see the new Batman movie.

We went to the theater and bought our tickets (the movie was going to be packed so we had to sit in the 4th row), and then we went to the skybox for dinner. The food was great! After dinner we still had 3 hours to kill so we just walked around and kinda window shopped (we did get some chocolates from that chocolate factory tho...mmmmm). Then we went to the movie! It was AMAZING! If you haven't seen it yet you should. Heath Ledgers performance was so great...and creepy! If I hadn't heard that it was him playing the joker...I wouldn't have known.

He stole the show! This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.

We got up the next morning and got ready and then had a great breakfast at the hotel. When we got to the park we found out that my 2 favorite rides were closed (the spider and the samuri) bummer. The sky was overcast....it was still hot and muggy...but not too bad. We went on all of the best rides and then we hit lagoon a beach. It was PAKED! But we floated the lazy river for a bit and then Josh and I went on some waterslides. By this time I was feeling sick so we decided to pack up and head home. We went to the Training Table to eat, and then home we came. I started feeling better after about an hour (we think it was heat exaustion). We got home at about 8.

It was a fun trip and it always seems like the weekend goes by way too fast.

I love Lagoon. It is one of my favorite summer time excursions. Sorry to hear that you got sick. That is always a bummer.
