Well That's That

We got final word yesterday that we won't be going to Cabo...which means no ziplining through the the canopy, no golfing at the Sea of Cortes, no spa treatments, and no snorkeling. We can forget moonlit walks on the beach and kiss lounging next to the pool and getting a tan goodbye. I know it's not the end of the world...and we will get over it, but Josh worked so hard for this. He will still be entering what they call "The Masters Club" and he will be getting all kinds of super nice prizes...but it still feels kinda like a slap in the face. Trip or no trip my husband did a fantastic job this year and I'm so proud of him!

On a happier note....yesterday my big brother came to my work, traded me cars and took my jetta and washed, waxed, polished, and detailed it. He also touched up some of the scratches and chips in it...and banged out a fairly good sized flaw that I accidently put into it last winter. This was actually all part of my Christmas gift from him this year....he knows how much I love a sparkley clean car (and anyone who knows him knows that he is a little anal about cars being clean), and that in the winter its impossible for me to wash it because I don't have a garage. So he made up a coupon that entitled me to one of his signature washes...and when I got my beloved Jetta back last night.....WOW it looked like a new car!
So the moral of the story is.....I have a wonderful husband who I am super proud of...and an extreamly thoughtful brother. I'm a very lucky gal.

I'm sorry you don't get to go to Cabo. It would have been soo much fun!!! Maybe you can still plan a cute getaway for the two of you!

is that Dustin that cleaned your car? We were good friends in high school and he was so anal about his toyota being spotless...maybe he could come do my car next!

The cabo thing sucks. I am so sorry. You guys should still take a trip. I am sure Josh did awesome, maybe he will hit that 15% next year.
