just an update

i've given a lot of thought to my last post. private or public? some of you gave me your opinions and i really appreciate it. i've decided that for now i'm going to stay public. i know there are some crazies and creepos out there, and the safety of my family is the most important thing...but to tell you the truth i don't feel weirded out by strangers looking at my blog (in fact if you are nice strangers i welcome you!)....maybe i should...but i don't. so for now i'm keeping things the same. and hey...if you are a "lurker" i would love to get to know you! come out of "the closet" say hello.

 in other news...the house is coming along very nicely. i have windows, doors are being installed today, insulation tomorrow, drywall friday! we were told to have our painter ready in about 3 weeks!!!

i'm so excited! it sounds like we will be able to move in the end of september! it seems like this has been such a long process. we first started talking about building a house last year at this time, and now it finally feels like we are getting somewhere!

yesterday we took stone to his 9 month dr. appointment. we went to a new doctor for the first time because we really didnt like the guy we were seeing....this new doctor seems great! stone is doing well and growing just as he should. he's a pro at crawling now...it's amazing at how much coordination he got in just a week. he loves to eat real food, and he "talks" all the time...melts my heart. my little man is growing up and before i know it he'll be walking.
