advise?

my little mister won't drink milk! i tried mixing the milk with some OJ (thanks for the tip Genevive!), and he seemed to like it, but then we found out that he's allergic to OJ. so i need more tips on how to get some milk in the little guy. did any of your kids hate milk in the beginning? how did you get them to drink it?

bummer! sorry he's allergic. i wish i knew another trick. i know that alot of kids struggle with the switch to whole milk and it always takes time... good luck!

My birthdaughter gets sick when she drinks milk. So they switched her over to rice milk. Maybe you could give that a shot?

With Trevin we added a children's supplement called Reliv for kids. We use the vanilla and add it to his milk, he has been on it since he was 7 mos old (we still give it to him daily). Not only does it make his milk taste yummy it has kept him EXTREMELY healthy, while other children suffer through cold and flu season, Trevin does great! The website is www.reliv.com, you have to be a distributor I think to buy it, I get ours from my grandparents, but I know there are lots of other distributors around the area. Good luck!

We didn't have this problem, so I don't have a lot of experience with it. But sometimes you have to give "tough love" and Stone will have to just drink the milk. Don't offer anything else. I'd try mixing the offer stuff people have suggested first and if that still doesn't work... the tough love. Good luck.

We mixed milk and formula and gradually lessened the formula until it was all milk. Easing them into it seemed to work for my kiddos...good luck!!

Neither of my boys will drink milk, all they want is juice (which i know is NOT good on their teeth) but if i put it in Bridgers sippy cup, he absolutly refuses to drink it. And Tegan is just barely opening up to the idea of chocolate milk- finally!! (he's 4!) I finally got tired of fighting with them to drink it so i try and get the calcium down them in other ways like lots of yogurt, ect. I never had very good luck, so hopefully Stone will eventually drink it for you!! Good luck!
