Last Weekend Of September

I can't beleive that we are already at the end of September! Time flys. We did a lot this weekend, but we had a good time...for the most part. On friday night I sprained my ankle as we were going to meet my parents for dinner. I was walking out to the car and stepped off the curb and just went down. I fell in the middle of the road...and Josh laughed! I'll have to admit that it prolly did look pretty funny, but I was in pain...and he shouldn't have laughed! But he helped me up and we decided to still go to dinner. So we met up with my parents at Texas Roadhouse, and by the time we got home my ankel was swollen and so I had to ice it and elevate it.

Saturday was Kim's baby shower, so I wrapped up my foot and tried to walk normal for the afternoon. The shower was nice...and Kim got a lot of nice things. Saturday night we had a birthday dinner for Robb over at Stockmans. The food was good...but get this! They charged us each 8:50 for a tip, and another 8.50 just to split the check (we won't be going there again)!

Sunday we decided to have Sam and Nicole over to watch the Sherwin Williams car in NASCAR (Sam works for Sherwin too). So we grilled burgers and cheered for our car who ended up taking 3rd place...we aren't NASCAR fans at all...but it was fun. Then we decided to make the most of the beautiful weather and go golfing! We met up with Robb and played the back 9 at Sand Creek. It was a really nice day..and my ankel felt pretty good until the last few holes. I still don't play great, but I think I'm getting better.

And now for the countdown...we are going to Vegas in 10 days and I can't wait! We have a really nice condo to stay in for free (it's my bosses condo, he's so great to let us stay there). And we are gonna go see Chicago and Phantom! can't wait!
