Twilight Gets a B

That's just my opinion. I know some of you haven't seen it yet so I'll try not to give anything away (but just in case you might wanna wait to read this until after you see the movie).
I'm not the person who gets upset because the movie didn't follow the book exactly...it's only BASED on the book...I get that. I was willing to look past the fact that the Cullens house didn't look anything like the book described....and that the meadow scene wasn't accurate at all....that kind of stuff is all fine by me, but the thing that bothered me the most was that the rest of the Cullen family wasn't in the movie hardly at all!You see them...and you know that they are there but you don't see any of them reacting with each other much. If you hadn't read the book you wouldn't know that the family was close at all...you would just assume that they just live in the same house. The other thing that bothered me is that I didn't feel like the movie flowed at all. It felt like there was big event after big event but nothing in between to connect them all together. All of the fun in between stuff isn't there (like finding out that Emmet's favorite food is grizzly, or that Alice is HUGE into fashion, or why Rosalie is a HUGE bitch), and you don't find out how any of them became what they are!

There were a lot of good parts to the movie tho...I felt that the music fit in great with the movie, and every scene with James was really cool. The filming was done nicely I thought, and the baseball scene was super fun to see.I felt that most of the casting was great (Emmet was great), and there was a lot of fun comic relief. All in all I thought it was pretty good...and I think I'll see it again, knowing what I know this time around I think will make it better. Did anyone else see it? What did you think?
And I know that this has nothing to do with Twilight but here is a picture of me with little Mya punkin at the hospital...isn't she the sweetest?

I haven't seen it yet- but I KNEW it wouldn't be like the book. They NEVER ARE! The book is ALWAYS better!

I went to if Friday afternoon and I felt the same way, i liked it but left a little disappointed. I felt that the friends from school were weird too, not at all what I thought, and Emmet is gorgeous! I didnt think Edward was to good looking, he plays the part well, but not my type of good looking. ANd the first kiss was in the meadow...not the bedrooom, I thought it was all to fast too. But Ill probs see it again, its just disappointing that a movie cant live up to a book!

I want to see it again, but I don't think I will be able to drag Coy to see it again. But I want to see it again and hopefully learn to love it a little bit more.

Mmm. I LOVE the Twilight series. I was thinking similar thoughts as you though. You could tell the film was low budget, but hopefully the next one will be better! I would watch it again though. :)
